Establishment of the Wing Chun Kuen Federation (FWCK)
The FWCK was established in December 2004 in Bratislava by its founder, Si-Fu (teacher) Juraj Povinec. Under his expert guidance, the martial art of Wing Chun was initially practiced in various gymnasiums across the city. In February 2007, the federation acquired its own dedicated training facility. This center continues to serve as the primary location for Wing Chun instruction today, offering regular group training sessions and private lessons led by Si-Fu Juraj Povinec.
Activities:
Seminars: A one-day seminar dedicated to Wing Chun practice is organized once a month. The training lasts for 6 hours, conducted in two-hour intervals. For more detailed information, please contact Si-Fu.
Grand Seminars: Once every quarter, a three-day seminar is organized in various cottage areas. In addition to intensive training, these events provide time for discussions and sharing perspectives on Wing Chun and the lifestyle associated with it.
